I've got cankles.

Is that how you spell it?
I don't have any ankles...
WHY!!!? Is there something that can be done?
Reconstructive ankle surgery or something?
I look stupid in flats and according to this picture, I look even stupider in ankle boots. WAH.
On the bright side, my slip dress was $4.58 at Target!!
Well... The Lord Giveth me a cute dress and Taketh away cute ankles.
Ps. I forgot to pack a jacket... so I pretty much wore my chunky sweater everyday.

Now that I'm home from Tenny, I can't wait to read your blogs and see how your weeks have been. xoxoxo <3 Blondes on a Budget (Lynn)

  1. If you're concerned about lack of ankle, you should try finding a shoe that's cut higher at the heel and lower on the top of the foot, like an oval opening. They help shape your leg and ankle closer to how you want it to look.

Ah, deceptive dressing, you are my friend! :)

For example, the two gray pairs in this photo:

  2. I don't see the cankles, great price on the dress!

  3. you look finnneee, but if you're self conscious (i am!) try a heel:)

  4. You look fine dear! You definently do not look stupid at all, actually you look gorgeous. That is such a good deal on that dress. :)

  6. Open toe high heel shoes would look great with a slip dress. ;)

  7. Haha you do NOT have cankles :p
I tend to have the same problem when dressing up, and also tend to lean towards the slouchy ankle boot. Maybe try something a little taller on the leg and slimmer or a pair of wedges? Those always work for me.

  8. Wow, $4.58?!:D
