Jordan's first MAC purchase

Hey all!

Mac might be out of your price range (it's definitely out of mine! haha) but my awesome boss gave me a MAC gift card for my birthday so I went to try it out!
(sorry I look so funky, I'm terrible at taking pictures of myself haha)

I am trying MAC's Studio fix fluid in NW15. So far, it's great! I tried using a brush like the mac artist said, but that didn't work so well and I ended up just using my fingers. The coverage is pretty darn good. I used considerably less concealer today on my red face than I normally do.
So far, love it!

Hugs and pretty faces!

  2. You look lovely
I think Mac is actually really good, you pay for what you get and generally their products are easy to use and with great pigmentation
Too bad it's way out of my price range too :(

  3. I love mac, I usually mix it with smash box, one of my favorite brand, I really need heavy coverage on my face as I have tons of imperfections, other than that eyeshadow and stuff, I use store brand stuff lol

  4. MAC is a dangerous store to walk in. So expensive but you want it all

  5. I'm more of a drugstore product girl myself, but I do love MAC's brushes -- so soft and really good quality.

  6. My best friend is studying to be a makeup artist and her favorite brand is MAC. I am a drugstore girl myself... Who can pay $30 for foundation?! But B has shown me the way. I got a flat brush from WalMart with white tipped bristles and used the "stippling" technique. If you look it up on YouTube, you will see a ton of videos about it and it really does give you great coverage.

    Thanks for following my blog!

  7. Awww! Thanks girls :)

I'll have to try the white taklon stippling technique. The mac artist said to use a flat dense one...oh well!

Also, I will probably switch back to my drugstore foundation after this unless another gift card arrives haha!
